Baguio City is located in the southwestern portion of the Cordillera Administrative Region, Philippines situated about 1,524 meters high with an approximate land area of 57 square kilometers. It is an urban city bordered by the municipalities of Tuba to the south and west; Itogon to the east; and La Trinidad Benguet to the north.
DepEd Baguio City Division has 21 secondary schools and 45 elementary schools divided into six (6) districts namely: West Baguio Central, Baguio Central, North Quezon, Quezon, Lucban, and Mabini Districts. Equally supportive towards giving quality education to the youth, the Division has 53, 691 elementary and 29,575 secondary private and public school learner as of June 2015 of SY 2015-2016. Moreover, it has 1,894 committed personnel both teaching, teaching related, and non-teaching either funded nationally and locally.
